One look at this sophisticated linen hand-stitched chain pillow, and I bet you'd never guess it's from HSN. Well, it is. And better yet, this Nate Berkus Linen Chain Pillow ($14.95, reduced from $39.95) is unbelievably affordable. Judging the quality of online products is difficult, but considering that this one is made of 100 percent linen, I feel reassured. Moreover, I just love its chain detailing. The zig-zag patterned chain has a great graphic quality and juxtaposes in a fresh way with the natural quality of the linen.

Steal of the Day: John Robshaw Pondicherry Duvet

Back in October, I rounded up some stylish finds at HSN, and was surprised to see designs by Nate Berkus, John Robshaw, and Colin Cowie in store. Well, I just revisited and found a slew of stylish finds on sale, and I couldn't help but pass the word along. I'm loving this John Robshaw Pondicherry Duvet ($99.95, reduced from $200). Its soft, teal, hand-blocked medallion print is light and beachy - great for a Summer house. The duvet has a button closure, hand-stitched detailing, and is made from 400 thread count Egyptian cotton. It's definitely a steal if I ever saw one.

In general, artificial flowers are sacrilegious to me - the beauty of fresh flowers lies not only in their form, but in their transiency. So, I wouldn't normally recommend bringing fakes into your home, but I will make an exception. Independent stylist and special projects editor for Elle Decor Carlos Mota has released a new collection of silk floral arrangements for HSN that are seriously chic and quite deceiving to the eye. My favorite is this CASA Carlos Mota Hydrangea Flower Bouquet ($49.95), with its sultry blues and Spring greens. Each arrangement comes in a modern, rippled, white ceramic vase. In the case that you do pick one of these up, please do not use it as a centerpiece; instead, use them to brighten a corner, where they can fit into your home in a more subtle manner.

The Home Shopping Network has bewildered me since the '90s. I never understood the phenomenon, why people get so attached to it . . . and more importantly, why people would buy all that crap. But, as it turns out, HSN does actually sell some stylish items, particularly in the home décor department. Interior designer Nate Berkus, beloved by Oprah Winfrey, carries an exclusive home collection with the retailer-cum-television-network, as well as textile designer John Robshaw and party planner to the stars Colin Cowie. HSN actually also has a handful of both classic and trendy pieces that are quite stylish, I must say, but not necessarily by a recognizable brand.

Home Depot to Launch Exclusive Martha Stewart Living Brand

Home Depot and Martha Stewart Living have announced a plan to develop an exclusive Martha Stewart Living line of home improvement products including outdoor living, home organization, and home décor items for Home Depot's stores. Like Martha's other products, you can expect them to be traditionally stylish and good quality, but they will also be affordable. Both design teams are working side by side to create a collection that makes coordinating décor and design during home improvement projects easy. You can look for the line's outdoor living products, such as patio dining sets ($399-1,999), in stores beginning in January 2010, followed by home organization items, such as closet organization systems, in February.

It's no surprise to see Martha Stewart expanding her brand to another store - she's practically on her way to world domination. But it is curious to see Home Depot taking on a designer name. Designer capsule collections is something we've seen with other big retailers like Target, Macy's, Rooms to Go, and HSN, but it's a first to see Home Depot headed in that direction. It's also exciting! Especially since Home Depot is a national brand, and a one-stop shop for home improvement products, it will be a treat to find some stylish décor there.
