The new rom-com The Bounty Hunter starring Jennifer Anniston and Gerard Butler premieres in theaters today. A tale of a man hired to track down his bail-jumping ex-wife, the plot is as predictable as it sounds. But there's no doubt I'll watch this guilty pleasure, if only for the interior design eye candy. Get the Look: High Society

I just caught up on the pilot of The CW's new NYC socialite reallity series, High Society, which is centered on the much-photographed and recently single Tinsley Mortimer. Have you seen it? While I wasn't particularly impressed with its spoiled cast of characters, the show's interiors were to die for! It's no surprise that Tinsley has a big budget for décor and a terrific sense of style: her interior designer mother, Dale Mercer, actually decorated her stunning apartment. Get the Look: Life Unexpected

The CW's new drama series Life Unexpected is a bit of a guilty pleasure, in part because I'm really loving Cate Cassidy's home. She lives in a cute Craftsman-style house which she's decorated in a mostly traditional style with a calm palette that's really quaint. In last week's episode, Cate turned her attic into a bedroom for her daughter Lux, who'd recently come into her life after being in foster care since birth. She hung posters of Lux's favorite bands on the walls, outfitted her desk with essential school supplies, and accessorized with cute lamps and other youthful décor. Get the Look: Life Unexpected

Last night the CW premiered a new Juno-meets-Gilmore-Girls-esque drama series, Life Unexpected, about a foster child who's reunited with her birth parents. Get the Look: Project Runway - the Ladies' Room

As usual, the contestants on season seven of Project Runway are treated to some very stylin' digs when they're not slaving away at the sewing machine. This season, they return to luxury rental building Atlas New York, which has been made quite visually arresting by the show's production designer. Some TV and movie sets - like Carrie Bradshaw's apartment - aren't very easy to recreate because they're furnished with pricey, borrowed, or one-of-a-kind items. But Project Runway's set décor has always been quite accessible, often furnished with Ikea items. Check out this slideshow to see how to get the look of the ladies' bedroom from the set.

Get the Look: Gone With the Wind

Today marks the 70th anniversary of the release of Gone With the Wind, the epic drama chronicling the Civil War from the point of view of Southern heroine (and, I would argue, reformed spoiled brat, Scarlett O'Hara). The most popular film ever made, it was adapted by Sidney Howard from Margaret Mitchell's novel of the same name. The film won 10 Academy Awards, and while it featured fine performances by Vivian Leigh and Clark Gable, its unexamined take on racism makes it rather hard for me to watch. However, stills from the movie offer some beautiful examples of traditional Southern interior design. After you're done, make sure to take this Scarlett O'Hara quiz!

One of my favorite holiday movies, Elf - starring Will Ferrell and Zooey Deschanel - tells the story of Buddy, a man raised as an elf at the North Pole who leaves to search for his true identity. The Box, the new thriller from Donnie Darko director Richard Kelly, tells the story of a financially troubled married couple who receive a box containing a button. The next morning, a creepy mysterious stranger tells them that they will receive $1 million if they push the button, but someone in the world will die. The movie, which is based on a short story by Richard Matheson, is set in Richmond, VA, in the year 1976, so there's plenty of fun, funky styling to the set. It's a pretty uncomplicated space with simple, clean-lined furnishings but the cheerful blue paint and oceanic artwork make it really delightful.

I am beyond excited for Jonathan Parker's new satirical indie comedy (Untitled), about a brooding avant-garde composer who falls for a trendy NYC gallerist, which stars Adam Goldberg and Marley Shelton - watch the trailer here. Seeing as the plot is set in the quirky world of contemporary art and music, it's no surprise that there's lots of modern design to drool over. The sets look downright hip and are full of furnishings that bridge the gap been art and décor. Many are also furnishings readily available to you!
