Today is the opening day for New Moon, and I think that by now, it's pretty obvious that here at Sugar HQ, we're totally excited about it! (In fact, we're going to all take in a screening of the movie today). While many fans focus on the vamps and romance, I'm more apt to notice the architecture and home decor. Get the Look: That '70s Style of The Box

The Box, the new thriller from Donnie Darko director Richard Kelly, tells the story of a financially troubled married couple who receive a box containing a button. The next morning, a creepy mysterious stranger tells them that they will receive $1 million if they push the button, but someone in the world will die. The movie, which is based on a short story by Richard Matheson, is set in Richmond, VA, in the year 1976, so there's plenty of fun, funky styling to the set. Get the Look: Serena van der Woodsen's Office

In this week's episode of Gossip Girl, "How to Succeed in Bassness," we got a look at Serena's new blue office. Aside from feeling total envy of the 19-year-old character for even having an office, I'm yearning to re-create the room for myself! It's a pretty uncomplicated space with simple, clean-lined furnishings but the cheerful blue paint and oceanic artwork make it really delightful.

I am beyond excited for Jonathan Parker's new satirical indie comedy (Untitled), about a brooding avant-garde composer who falls for a trendy NYC gallerist, which stars Adam Goldberg and Marley Shelton - watch the trailer here. Seeing as the plot is set in the quirky world of contemporary art and music, it's no surprise that there's lots of modern design to drool over. The sets look downright hip and are full of furnishings that bridge the gap been art and décor. Many are also furnishings readily available to you! Writer Nick Hornby's movie An Education chronicles the coming-of-age story of a teenage girl in 1960s suburban London, whose life is affected by the arrival of a playboy nearly twice her age. With a great cast including Carey Mulligan, Peter Sarsgaard, Emma Thompson, Alfred Molina, and Rosamund Pike, the movie features fab set design and gorgeous dresses. Get the Look: Cameron and Mitchell's House on Modern Family

Tonight's the second episode of ABC's new winning comedy Modern Family, and I have to say I'm hooked. I love all of the family dynamics in this extended family, and I also have to say that I absolutely adore Cameron and Mitchell's home. The couple, who've been together for five years and have just adopted a baby, have a great style to their home. While I'm not a fan of the nursery, the rest of the house displays a pleasing mix of modern and cozy elements, with a great use of color and art. Take the tour with me!

The Time Traveler's Wife isn't the best book adaptation ever, but I am in love with the interiors in this magical romance. Every character inhabits seriously to-die-for digs; I only wish there were more photos available! I recommend seeing the movie if only for the rooms, and until then, get a taste - and get the look.

That's partially why I'm so excited about seeing the biopic about Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel's early years, Coco Avant Chanel. Starring Audrey Tautou as well as many fabulous costumes, which were created by Catherine Leterrier, this film opens in the US in mid-September. I was so taken with the costumes that I decided to see how I could translate Leterrier's lovely creations to the home world.
