Take a cue from Funny People, and decorate your walls according to what you love. In the movie, Seth Rogen plays an aspiring comedian who is mentored by Adam Sandler, a seasoned vet of the comedy business. In a movie that's all about funny people, it makes sense that their homes should reflect their love with framed photos of comedians.

I'd love to have listened in on the conversation between Democratic senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand and Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor, but since I couldn't make it to Capitol Hill, I'll simply take some inspiration from this photo. Do you see the grouped photographs on the background wall? Instead of hanging all eight photos vertically, the photos are hung in both directions, while still perfectly spaced.

I love this idea for repurposing old belt buckles that I found over at Martha Stewart. Take thrifted belt buckles and use them as miniature photo frames, or even better, stick a magnet on the back and display them on a refrigerator or other magnetic surface. Antique stores, flea markets, or thrifting adventures should yield plenty of great possibilities for frames.

This might not be the best option for nail-shy apartment dwellers, but I can't help but admire this artfully overdone wall of framed photos. I like how the frames follow the lines of the room and how the cluttered look is offset by the simple black-and-white color scheme. This would be a great way to display old family photos.

I adore the distinctively kitschy look of paint-by-numbers art, not to mention the quaint "everyone's an artist!" idea behind it. Completed number paintings can be great thrift-store finds, and now the frame-mavens at Umbra have come up with the PhotoArt Frame ($55).

I spotted this photo in the portfolio of interior stylist and designer Sibella Court, and was wowed by the hanging light fixture. To me it looks like a lampshade was simply attached to a basic Lamp Cord Kit ($12), and then dangled from the molding. The shade would probably need to have a bulb clip top fitter, too.
