Looking for a jack-o-lantern that even your glammest girlfriend would covet? Then check out jeweler Eddie Borgo's amazing dark and bejeweled pumpkin. This pumpkin was originally created as a housewarming gift for designer Victor Glemaud, but I think it would look amazing at any style-forward Halloween to-do this weekend.

New York Fashion Week was full of many beautiful, elegant, and inspiring looks. But I must say that the designers participating in Madrid Cibeles Fashion Week have really displayed out-of-the-box thinking and debuted some wild and funky fashions. In particular, I'm blown away by Spanish designer Francis Montesinos's Spring collection.

In addition to plenty of other treasures, French model and designer Ines de la Fressange used a handbag and a single boot as decorative accessories to dress up a chest of drawers in her office in Paris. Seeing as the items are works of art in their own right, and her other furnishings are downright glamorous as well, I think she's pulled it off. But just any old shoe wouldn't do.

If you're a fan of James Perse's cozy tees and casual California aesthetic, you'll be pleased to hear that the contemporary knitwear designer has extended his brand to interiors. He has debuted four collections of furniture for indoors and out to give your home that same simple and timeless style as your wardrobe. I love the no-frills, refined-yet-relaxed vibe of the Sonoma Sofa (inquire for price) from his upholstered NorCal Collection.

Flipping through photos from Christian Dior's 2010 Fall Couture show, I noticed a theme of bright, juicy hues. As FabSugar noted, innerwear (corsets, garters, etc.) also played a major role, but considering how unpopular this corset-inspired chandelier was, I don't see lingerie motifs succeeding in the interior design world. These tangerine, pop pink, and chartreuse colors, on the other hand, would be a fun addition to any home — modern or traditional. The citrus-colored seat on this Colorful French Accent Chair ($349) from Wisteria, for instance, pops against its carved oak frame, jazzing up what I imagine is a conservative room.

A British fashion designer who brought punk and new wave fashion mainstream, and gained attention as a favorite of the Sex Pistols, designed these throw pillows. Do you know who she is? I'll give you a hint: Pamela Anderson posed in her Spring ad campaigns this year.

In the Palm Beach store of an iconic American fashion house, a mural was painted based on an original photo of the preppy designer at the height of her fame. Who is the designer? Make sure you spell her name correctly!

A luxury Italian fashion house put the design process on display at Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile, asking up-and-coming designers to create objects of art and furnishings using materials discarded from the label's production process, including leather, fabrics, plastic elements, and metal hardware. You never knew your baguette could become a sculpture for your home, did you?

It's practically a sin not to have an online shop, and Versace is well aware of this. The luxury Italian fashion label has launched its first online store, complete with a new housewares boutique, exclusive to the US. The shop features a range of accessories and furnishings for the home, including silk cushions and duvets, crystal and porcelain gifts, fine hand-painted china, lamps, and fabric.

The Southwest Chapter of the International Interior Design Society's 2nd annual Couture 2009 event featured an evening of interior design and runway fashion. One twist to the evening? Local design firms showcased original fashions that they designed and produced out of interior design materials and finishes such as carpeting, tile, and textiles.
