Jan 22 2010 - 2:30pm One of my biggest pet peeves in my kitchen is a dirty stovetop. If you cook regularly, it's often hard to avoid spills and stains on the shiny surface of your stove. However, if you can keep up a regular regimen of cleaning it after you cook, you can ward off deeper cleaning sessions that may take an hour or more.

I like a clean stove, too. I only like to cook on a clean stove. This means I end up cleaning the stove every day or else I think it's gross.
1I do too Glowing, I wash my dishes as I cook and dirty them and I clean my stove top everyday and my stove once a week. I like to have a clean kitchen.
2I hate cleaning my stovetop, but I found something that works really well - Scotch Brite never rust soap pads, they are made out of recycled plastic bottles.

baking soda & vinegar for cleaning!
4For the hard stains I use oven spray on my gas stove top. Works like a charm - better than any of the other remedies I'd tried prior.
5I sponge mine every night after I cook dinner, I'm too messy of a cook not to! Thankfully my burners can also go in the dishwasher, so I do that once a week too.
6I love using cleaning wipes, they're really easy so that I actually clean up right away.
7Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is amazing for my glass top stove!!
