If you're a fan of the shape and look of antique keys, you'll be happy to hear that they're popping up all over the design world. They're such a classic element, too, that they're unlikely to go out of style. See my ideas for decorating with keys in your home.

Glass cloches, which are also known as glass domes or bell jars, are a great way to highlight a favorite object. There are many many ways to use, and decorate with them, though, so let your imagination go wild! For a few ideas, check out this slideshow.

I've been enjoying Julianna Margulies's new series The Good Wife. Margulies stars as Alicia Florrick, a wife and mother who heads back to the work force after her husband (played by Chris Noth), the Cook County state attorney, is jailed for a sex and political corruption scandal. Alicia's new home, which she shares with her two children, shows a great mix of classic style that's updated with some more modern touches.

Lovely Little Vignettes member Kimpossible recently posted some great pictures of her Fall decorating scheme. She notes, "Halloween decorations go up closer to the holiday, but these stay up until Thanksgiving."
I'm curious: Do the rest of you decorate for Halloween, or do you go for Fall decorating ideas that can translate into Thanksgiving?

I love the funky shapes, colors, and textures of Fall gourds. Clustered in a bowl, or stacked in a tall vase, they make a great centerpiece in lieu of flowers. Do you regularly buy them for Fall decorating?

Sure, orange is bright and bold, but it's also a beautiful shade. Whether you use it as an accent color or deck out an entire wall in persimmon-colored paint, you can't go wrong with orange.

Readymade recently posted photos and an interview with recent grad Andrew Milauckus, whose aesthetically pleasing Michigan produce stand is beyond adorable. While the exterior of his stand, Summertime, has a '50s vibe, the eclectic interior is a mix of styles. Check out my favorite ideas from his shop.

Forget expensive vases and sculptural objects — simple fruit can really add a pop of color, shape, and texture to a room. Just arrange it in a beautiful bowl and you've got an instant, artistic accent for your home.
