The Manhattan home of fashion and interior accessories designer Cynthia Rowley was recently featured in the October issue of Elle Decor, and it is the epitome of style. Could you really expect anything less? Against a cool palette throughout, you'll see a mix of antiques (and eras), flea market finds, original artwork, and Rowley designs as sophisticated as her ready-to-wear collections and as radiant as her home accessory line for Target.

This past weekend's hot weather had me craving lemonade and frosty beer. The next time I throw a party, I'll throw ice and bottles into this Cynthia Rowley for Target Steel Beverage Tub ($12.99). Who can resist the funky fresh mix of Macintosh apple red and '80s throwback hot pink?

Word is that Metropolitan Home's latest issue features this pink hose ($10) "designed" by Cynthia Rowley. While the color pink may not make your plants grow any faster, it'll certainly make your yard look good while you do the dirty work! I couldn't find the hose online anywhere, but something tells me it soon will be, or perhaps it's available in store already.

Who caught the finale of "Design Star" last night? All 11 designers were brought back for the final episode of the show for a look back at memorable scenes from the season (somewhat like the Reunion episode from "Project Runway.") Still, it was sweet to see all of the designers again and to hear how hard it had been for judges Martha McCully, Cynthia Rowley, and Vern Yip to eliminate one designer every episode.
So who won?

Have any of you Casa readers been keeping up with the HGTV series "Design Star"? I've been pretty riveted, even though the designers' drama has sometimes overpowered their designs. You just never know how a project is going to turn out and how judges Martha McCully, Cynthia Rowley, and Vern Yip are going to weigh in on the challenges.
