How-To: Get Under the Sheets With Jason Lewis

Samantha Jones isn't the only one who can get Jason Lewis in bed. Charisma Linens, which sells bedding and bath linens at Bloomingdale's, has landed the actor as the star of its latest marketing campaign. Shot by photographer Nino Muñoz, Lewis posed in a bed made with lush, understated, and elegant Charisma linens. You can watch out for the ads in some of your favorite shelter magazines, including Elle Decor and House Beautiful. Wondering why Lewis was chosen to dress this finely appointed bed? Charisma's chief marketing officer Dari Marder says, "Jason not only looks beautiful in the campaign, but he is a warm, kind-hearted person whom I know our customers will be thrilled to meet at Bloomingdale's when he makes appearances for Charisma." Umm . . . that's for sure! But, I will admit, those linens look beautiful too. Take one more look at Lewis in bed when you read more.

Lilly Pulitzer to Debut Bedding Line For Garnet Hill

Palm Beach prep is coming home. Pink and green queen Lilly Pulitzer will debut a new home goods collection for Garnet Hill in January. The line will include bedding and bath accessories in her signature happy chic colors. Bedding designs will include "Truly Lilly, " "Classic Lilly," and "Trend Lilly" with sheets, quilts, comforter covers, shams, pillow covers, coverlets, and bedskirts. The bath designs will include a shower curtain in starfruit yellow; Chinoiserie towels in hibiscus pink, starfruit yellow and surf blue; a Chinoiserie tufted bath rug in hibiscus pink, starfruit yellow and surf blue, and a juice stand shower curtain in turquoise.

This isn't the first time Lilly has entered the interiors business. The company has had other bedding collections, but they've ceased production. From this sneak peek image of the collection, it seems to be much more contemporary. And the quilting is beautiful!

When my aunt was growing up, she bought a stack of quilting fabric squares from her local Lilly shop in Palm Beach and sewed her very own Lilly Pulitzer quilt. To this day, she still owns it and I've always been covetous. I guess now she won't be the only one with a Palm Beach princess bedroom.

Good pick! That bedding is very chic - much more sophisticated than any college bedding I ever had! Lucky for you, it wasn't hard for to me find. Love It or Hate It? Kumi Kookoon Silk Sheets

I’m not even in the market for new bedding, but there’s something about an exceptional piece of velvet that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside (i.e. want to shop). Steal of the Day: Style & Co. Trees Bedding

I don't know if you've seen Macy's Style & Co. bedding linens before, but they have a modern style with clean lines and an easy mix-and-match arrangement that I really adore. As its name suggests, the Trees Bedding Collection ($29.99-99.99) is inspired by nature, with a bold tree print, but its mix of pattern and texture - strands and waves of amethyst, an origami pillow sham, painterly speckles, and negative mirrored imagery - will give any bed a really unique look. It's not so modern, though, that it's only fit for a modern Los Angeles bachelor pad; its neutral hues
keep things reserved and its botanical patterns give it a feminine edge. Oh: and did I mention it's on sale?

Nice and New: Kelly Wearstler For Sferra

Contemporary interior designer and Top Design judge Kelly Wearstler has launched a line with luxury linens maker Sferra. The line includes bedding, pillows, throws, table linens, and napkin rings. Wearstler has pumped up the volume of her soft and subtle color palette with statement-making texture and pattern, such as couture-inspired details like hand-embroidered ribbon, appliqué-embellished silks, and delicate strié. The collection, which ranges in price from $38 to $1,650, is available online, at Neiman Marcus stores, and in specialty boutiques. This wacky tastemaker also has a boutique inside Bergdorf Goodman and a collection of hand-made rugs with The Rug Company, but her Sferra collection marks the first time her products will be available to consumers on a national retail scale. Whether you can afford them, though, that's another conversation altogether . . .

Nice and New: Himmeli Linens at Crate and Barrel

Even if you don't know it, you're probably familiar with the iconic textile designs of Finnish brand Marimekko. The Unikko poppies pattern is particularly ubiquitous, and many of the designs are carried at Crate and Barrel.

Right now, I'm smitten with C and B's newest Marimekko offerings: the Himmeli bed linens ($49.95 to $99.95) and shower curtain ($44.95). The chocolate brown and snow white fabrics have a nice feminine touch, with a bold design featuring delicate Queen Anne's lace flowers. The pattern is based on a photo negative design by Maija Isola.

The Himmeli bedding line includes sheets, a comforter, pillowcases, a duvet cover, and pillow shams. Thanks to my buddy YumSugar for bringing this lovely product to my attention.
