Feb 15 2009 - 5:30am I'm not keen on reality TV but The City is my guilty pleasure: I just can't get enough of the fabulous interiors, particularly Whitney Port's one-bedroom. The central feature of her killer pad is this gorgeous turquoise and gold patterned sofa. I'm absolutely infatuated with it, but I'm sure it's a custom piece, sad!

I'm so glad you featured this sofa because I have been in love with it since first glance... i'm a mom to 3 so this would NEVER be an option, or at least for the next 16 years. it is GORGEOUS.. keep a tracker on it and let us know if you find out where it came from! I'd love to see what a 23 year old New Yorker can afford to spend on a sofa like that.
1In that picture it doesn't look so fab, but on TV it looked amazing! I love that it's not conventional, it's not what most people would think of for a modern apartment like Whitney's.

5The fabric/pattern hurts my eyes - I don't like it. But I love the throw pillows - beautiful colours and fabrics!

8I don't think I am normally this shallow, but I would feel like I clashed with my sofa every time I sat on it unless I was wearing all solids.

18try Designer's Guild, they have the couch and the fabric. you just have to search for it on their site. not sure where she got it from though, since i know they mostly sell just fabric etc in the U.S. not so much furniture.
19I was also wondering if anyone has figured out where the silver TV cabinet is from in Whitney's apartment.
