Take a Picture While on Your Next Run

FitSugar reader sunshinedaydream2706 shared a photo of what she saw on her run for the photo fitness challenge of our Get Fit For 2011 giveaway. Crazy! An old-timey video game carved from the trunk of a tree? Sitting by itself on the bank of a canal? I'll have to run to the other side of the park to check it out again . . . but maybe there is a Ms. Pacman hiding in the trees nearby! Be sure to Read more

Quickly Re-Touch Photos With PicTreat

Even with their fancy features, digital cameras aren't immune from taking the odd bad picture. Now what happens when you want to fix a photo (like red eye, pimples, bad lighting) and free online photo editing sites just aren't cutting it with their basic features? Sure you could always use Photoshop if you're a master of its many tools, but what if you need to change your Facebook profile photo Read more

Would You Put Your Photo on a Shower Curtain?

PhotoShowerCurtain.com will use a photo or digital image of your choice to create a custom, full-printed shower curtain for you. I can see this being cool if maybe an artsy, black and white photo were used — like the Studio 54 image used on the Izola Patrick McMullan Shower Curtain — but otherwise, it might be too kitschy for me. What do you say? Would You Put Your Photo on a Shower Read more

Cool Idea: Poladroid

Ever since Polaroid decided to discontinue its instant-film products, I've been trying to snatch up all of the 600 film I come across. But, that gets pricey, considering the film costs nearly a buck per development. You know how I love my Polaroids, though, so it puts me in a pickle. I just came across probably the coolest thing I've seen in ages though, making those worries vanish as instantly Read more

Is This Pic Fit For the Photo Album?

Topless Pregnancy Photo

A new trend is to stuff Baby's First Photo Album with pics of Mom and Pop embracing each other while posing near topless in blue jeans. Nothing out-of-bounds is exposed, and the point is to show off Mom's beautiful baby bump, but is Dad's chest hair (or lack thereof, in the pic below) really necessary? Is this style of photography sweet and honest, or plain ol' inappropriate? You tell me. Read more

Introducing: Unnecessary Blurring

You Got Blurred

The Internet has nothing better to do than punk with people's pics these days. No photo is off limits, nobody is sacred, and there are absolutely no boundaries. Decapitate a baby? It's been done. Decapitate an old lady and give her a cat head for kicks? Done. So the three-dude pileup shown above was an easy target, and unnecessary blurring was the gag. It's a little harsh, but your mind was Read more

Casa Quickie: Displaying Treasured Photos at Your Reception

If you're looking for a more organic way to display photos at your wedding reception then steal this idea, which I found in wedding photographer Elizabeth Messina's portfolio. Just wrap a tree snugly with twine and clothespin photos to it. It would even look cuter with some custom clothespins. For all of our wedding coverage, check out IDoSugar. Source Read more
