Tie-dye seems to be a resurging trend in the fashion world - one that even Tory Burch is heralding - but I'll certainly never be adding the groovy style to my wardrobe. It seems, though, that the dip-dyed material may be gaining momentum in the world of interiors, too. Anthropologie's new Ocean Swell Curtain ($138-$198) has 1970 written all over it. Would you bring these curtains into your humble hippie abode?

Ballard Designs' new Spool Side Table ($199) was inspired by actual spools used by French rope makers to display and sell their natural fiber manila rope. Crafted of mango wood and authentic manila rope, it's not the bulky side table it appears to be: its top lifts off for storage. While this design is quite clever to me, with an antiquey meets nautical vibe, I think I'd rather own the real thing. If you read about my drum side table, you know how I love to turn unusual finds into furniture. How about you?

West Elm just introduced this new Knit Ruffle Bolster ($34), a knit cotton pillow cover with a delicate fringed ruffle trim. I think it's adorable, and I love pearl and deep purple palette; très Chanel, n'est-ce pas? But the thing is, it doesn't seem very West Elm! It's much more feminine than most of their products. Do you like it? Would you like to see more of this sort of thing?

Pottery Barn has caught onto the pouf trend and finally produced some of its own. Unfortunately, in a natural-colored cotton twill, the Twill Cube and Tuffet ($99) are as bare bones as can be. No pattern. No texture. Nothin'. What do you think? Do you like the simple seat or does it need more flair? Does the wallet-friendly price make you take another look?

Fur made a big appearance at New York Fashion Week, but did it register on your home decorating radar? There's plenty of it to be found in the home decor world, including this Adrienne Landau Rabbit Throw ($2400). While I'm sure the throw is sumptuously soft, I couldn't imagine including something like this in my home. How about in yours?

Love It or Hate It? Flavor Paper Sharp Descent Wallpaper

New Orleans-based wallpaper company Flavor Paper is giving its collection a bit of an edge with its new Sharp Descent ($150) paper. The design is an I Spy-esque arrangement of blunt, deadly objects - nearly everything you can't bring on an airplane. While the wallpaper would be perfect for Dexter's apartment, I can't say I'd hang it in my own home. What about you? Would your sense of humor allow this? Could you find a place for it in your home?

American artist and metalsmith Boris Bally was commissioned by the New York City Transit Museum to create his Times Square Station 42nd Street Chair ($2,200). Each one-of-a-kind chair is handmade in his studio in Providence, RI, with pieces hand-cut and edges shaped and filed by hand from reflective aluminum signs inspired by New York's famous MTA graphics. I'd love to see one of these in a New York City kitchen, living room, or even an office. What do you say?

I love the exuberant patterns of Amy Butler's fabrics, but I know that some of you aren't big fans. However, what do you think about her patterns when they're transferred to a wool rug? This Amy Butler Coventry Rug ($100 and up) was inspired by lavish gardens in the English countryside, and is made of New Zealand wool. Can you see it laying a foundation for a room in your casa?
