I'm trying to decide where these Peter Harvey-designed Tongue-in-Cheek chairs ($5,900) would be most appropriate. A wacky dentist office, perhaps? Available in some candy-bright colors, these chairs are built out of UV-resistant GRP (glass-reinforced plastic).

Strolling through downtown San Francisco, I came across this window display of a men's clothing store. To decorate for Halloween, the shop has covered the faces of their mannequins with googly eyes. I can't decide if I find these decorations spooky or just weird.

Can't get enough of Robert Pattinson? Then maybe you need to get out your needle and thread and whip up this Robert Pattinson Cross Stitch. The pattern is free, but it does involve quite a bit of labor.

This curvaceous, concrete home in Argentina was designed with a minimal footprint and unusual lines. Do you like the look, or is it too outside-the-box for you?

Today, President Barack Obama met with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in the Oval Office of the White House. While I'm not a fan of gold frames in general (even when they're housing a lovely portrait of a founding father), I'm not sure what i think of the all-over ivy on the mantel behind the president and the prime minister. Would you ever coat a mantel with this much ivy?

London-based design firm Doshi Levien designed the Principessa Daybed for Moroso. It consists of several thin mattress layers and was inspired by Hans Christian Anderson's tale "The Princess and the Pea." I think it's absolutely charming and clever, and would bring a bit of nostalgic whimsy to any room!

OK, I like wood trays. And I like Swarovski. But together?

Fireflies do glow, but not as brightly as this Firefly Carcass LED Light, which designer Harry Allen created from a 3D printing of a firefly that he caught in his yard. Cool? Or kind of macabre?

Chartreuse is one of those colors that people have a hard time feeling neutral about. This Chartreuse Tufted Headboard ($1,709) is built on a maple frame that's been covered in tufted, chartreuse suede. Part of me loves it, but I doubt that I could handle the color — or decorating around the color — for very long.

Since Jonathan Adler has already designed a real-life Malibu dream house, it stands to reason that the designer would follow through with his own line of Barbie accessories, and even his version of the doll herself. The Jonathan Adler Barbie doll ($49.95) comes wearing a chic Adler-patterned trapeze top, along with miniature versions of real Jonathan Adler pieces, including a stylish Channing End Table, Bel Air Table Lamp, Three Stripes Vases, a Lacquer tray, and a Lacquer Barbie Silhouette Mirror. Do you love it, or know a little Barbie-loving girl who might?
