Hopefully, you've learned to pack by now. But once you've rolled up your socks perfectly and handed your suitcase off to an airport employee, you don't have much control over where it goes. Sometimes luggage disappears, and when that happens, Is This Your Luggage is there to save the day.

New York-based design house Lost City makes these hand-embroidered Forensics Pillows ($308-324), inspired by the study of crime scene evidence. I could definitely see them in the coveted crib of Dexter Morgan, but there's no way I'd ever put them in my home. How about you?

I've been on the hunt for a new set of sheets for the last month or so, but I'm too picky to order them online and I haven't had time to go to the store to look for some. When it comes to sheets, I need to see and touch them before I buy them — or at least have a referral from a friend. So when a set of Charles P.

Last week, art blogger Tyler Green tried to arrange a Super Bowl art loan bet between the Indianapolis Museum of Art and the New Orleans Museum of Art via Twitter. The museum directors stepped up pretty quickly and wagered to loan their competitors a beloved art work for a three-month period, if their city's respective football team lost the Super Bowl. After some very competitive back and forth banter via Twitter and emails concerning which pieces would be loaned, the two arrived at a deal: if the Saints win (Geaux Saints!), the IMA will loan The Fifth Plague of Egypt (1800, left) by Joseph Turner to the NOMA for three months, and if the Colts win, NOMA will loan Ideal View of Tivoli (1644, right) by Claude Lorrain to IMA.

Made from pieces rescued from the streets of London and slices of solid timber, the And Made Lost and Found Stools (inquire for price) address our throwaway culture by transforming disregarded furniture into one-of-a-kind furniture pieces. I feel like these stools make too much of a statement to blend easily into a residential interior, but I certainly can see them in a café or restaurant interior, which is what they were originally designed for. Putting aside their eco-consciousness, do you like the look of these pieces?

When you're a serious bibliophile, a library room just won't cut it. If you have the means, you create a separate building to house your beloved tomes.
That's just what a Nantucket homeowner did.

Before the advent of cordless phones (and cell phones and Bluetooth), a telephone was a stationary thing. Back then, the place to answer calls and chat was called "a gossip bench" — see photos here. This long-lost breed of furniture is one part table (to hold your telephone) and one part chair or bench.
