I recently did some catching up on The Hills and noticed these beautiful textiles hanging on a banister in a fabric store where Stephanie Pratt and Lauren Conrad were shopping. I've written about this type of textile before, and it's pretty trendy these days. Can you name it?

Lauren Conrad's Pad Is Up For Rent

I'm sure all of you Hills fans would kill to replace Audrina in Lauren Conrad's Spanish villa in the Hollywood flats. Well, something tells me that reality is not so far off. Conrad is renting out her 3,009-square-foot, four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home for $11,000 per month. Conrad and her BFF Lo Bosworth moved into a high-rise condo in the Westwood area of LA in favor of more security and privacy. I'm also guessing that Lauren's feud with her neighbors over the commotion of paparazzi and MTV crews at her digs might have motivated her to move elsewhere. Would you like to rent out Conrad's pad? I certainly would! I actually think it's sad that she's decided to move; it's such a cute house. To each her own, right?

This year has been a confetti of celebrity real estate news, and thanks to the Internet gods, we've gotten a sneak peek into plenty of current and former celeb digs to gawk at. But when beloved reality star Lauren Conrad bought her first home at only 21 years old, and left her well-televised digs in the Hollywood Hills, you (and I) really went bananas, surely overwhelmed with a moderate dose of envy. This Just In: Lauren Conrad's Heart Is Broken

That's right. Get out your box of tissues and prepare yourself for this sob story. Lauren Conrad's parents have put her adolescent home, of Laguna Beach fame, on the market for a cosmic $17.9 million, according to Real Estalker. Natch, LC will be experiencing some serious withdrawal issues once the sale goes through, yearning to revisit the place that marked her entrance into "reality" television fame-dom and reminisce over the memories of undying flame Stephen Colletti and her teenage angst. If you've been wondering where LC gets her artistic streak, I should probably note that her parent's 8,000-square-foot, 7-bedroom, 6.5-bath home was actually designed by Papa Conrad himself, otherwise known as architect James Conrad. The property boasts "200-year-old reclaimed oak timbers and hand-carved stone fireplace mantels," an infinity pool seeming "to spill into the Pacific Ocean below," and superb panoramic ocean views. If you ask me, I'd say that LC has a much better eye for real estate than her parents.

This Just In: More Details on Lauren Conrad's Home

Earlier this year, we reported that Lauren Conrad was moving to the Hollywood Flats. Now, Big Time Listings has all the details on the price tag on this three-bedroom Spanish style villa just off Sunset Boulevard.

LC paid $2.36 million for her three bedroom house. Big Time reports more details,

Features in the walled and gated house include a courtyard entry, two and a half baths, a den, refinished hardwood floors, a custom kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances, and Carrera marble, according to listing information. Other features include wrought iron work, original moldings, antique light fixtures, a den with traditional Spanish floor tiles and public rooms that all open to a sun-filled yard, according to listing information. Outside on the 0.17-acre property are a detached guest house with a full bath, a pool and an outdoor fireplace, according to public records and listing information.

This Just In: Lauren Conrad Quits the Hills, Geographically

Rumor has it that reality star slash fashion designer Lauren Conrad plans to leave her two bedroom Hollywood Hills rental, which she shares with Audrina Patridge, for a charming 3,009 square foot, three bedroom, two and a half bath Spanish style villa on the Hollywood flats just off Sunset Boulevard. Do you hear that? The Hollywood flats. The house was last listed at $2,495,000, but the final sale price is unknown. It features a detached guest house with an additional bedroom and bathroom, refinished hardwood floors, a custom kitchen with Lagos Azul counters and high-end appliances, Carrara marbled baths, a pool and yard, as well as original wrought iron work, moldings, antique light fixtures, and Spanish floor tiles. She is said to have been shopping for a house for a year now, and is set to move into her dream pad in six weeks or so. Of the mansion, a realtor source tells Page Six, "The house is beautiful inside and out, Lauren has found herself a gem. This area is so happening right now." What do you think? This Just In: Audrina Patridge Heads Back to the Hills

Audrina Patridge has opted for greener pastures than the backyard guest house of Lauren Conrad's house in the Hollywood Flats, and purchased her own three-bedroom, 2.5-bath digs in the Hollywood Hills for $1.29 million. We all knew that she'd moved out of Conrad's digs, but finally I've got the deets. The listing for the property reads:

This new construction Spanish Villa has a spectacular view over looking the city! It has three bedrooms & two and a half baths, & a huge gourmet chef's kitchen. The kitchen features a separate convection oven, 6 burner gas stove, built-in microwave, wine refrigerator and side by side refrigerator, & a center island. The entertainer's patio is like a resort w/ built in BBQ, refrigerator.

I guess it's not a far cry from Conrad's Spanish-style villa, so Audrina should feel right at home! Check out these pics for the full tour:

This Just In: Frankie Muniz Gets a New Agent and Relists

According to Real Estalker, Frankie Muniz has relisted his home in the Hollywood Hills, which he originally listed in December 2007, with a new real estate agent and reduced his asking price from $3.875 million to $3.695 million. He paid $3.499 million for the 1,972-square-foot, 5-bedroom, 4-bath in January 2006. The original listing for the home reads:

A Stephen Moore design completely upgraded with the finest of materials. Open floor plan leads to pool and spa with outdr FP. Large master suite has pitched ceils, skylights, 2 large walk-in closets, and stunning bath with infinity tub. Full surround sound system. New fire sprinkler system. Beautiful landscaping throughout and romantic viewing deck with striking city views.

I suppose that Muniz, who in 2006 announced he was taking a break from acting to pursue a career in race car driving, doesn't also drive a hard bargain. Or, maybe now that Lauren Conrad has quit the Hills, he's eager to move. . . . Anyways, I'm kind of bummed not to see a race car bed in there.
