Wallpaper Magazine's 2009 Design Awards Winners
Wallpaper magazine, which focuses a discerning and design-savvy eye on topics such as travel, design, entertainment, fashion, and media, has just released its Design Awards 2009 issue, which goes on sale today. The 2009 Design Awards, which include recognition for everything from best grooming product to best women's fashion collection, also showcases a number of home and interior design items as well.
The judges, which included Kanye West, had their work cut out for them, but I have to say they came up with some great choices.
Crave Worthy: Livingstones
I've just been enlightened by Kanye West about a hip bean-bag alternative, Livingstones (inquire for price). Livingstones, designed in 2004 by French lady Stéphanie Marin, are essentially floor cushions shaped like stones, although some equate more to sofas than cushions. They're made of environmentally-friendly, pure, and natural materials like 100-percent Virgin wool and hypoallergenic polysilicone fiber stuffing, and the wool's mineral tints don't use any chemical dyes.
Kanye West To Sell His Beverly Hills Home
In the market for a celebrity-owned crib? Hip-hop star Kanye West is selling his Beverly Hills home, and it can be yours for the measly price of $8,699,000. According to Big Time, the house, which he purchased in February for $7,150,000, is "back on the market after eight months of ownership and no months of inhabiting the property."

Kanye West didn't take home any prizes at the 2007 Video Music Awards on Sunday — and he's none to happy about it either. But when it comes to interior design, the rapper totally rules.
