I can't think of a more delightful way to spend my endless Summer evenings than under the warm glow of candlelight. There are plenty of trendy ornate chandeliers out there, but I love the sophisticated simplicity of Gump's Iron Candle Chandelier ($99, reduced from $250). Who needs crystals and birds birds birds when you've got timeless, hand-forged iron and classic tapers to light up the night? I certainly don't, and I wouldn't mind lightening my electricity bill, either . . .

For those of you who loved the tripod base lamps in my Good, Better, Best, do I have a deal for you. While not identical in style to the tripod lamps I featured, I find this one actually preferable in several ways. The Gump's Tripod Pharmacy Lamp (on sale for $169.99, originally $455) has an antiqued-nickel finish that makes it seem like a great flea market find, and its shape, which is modeled after early 20th-century pharmacy fixtures, only enhances that impression. While the tripod lamps from my Good, Better, Best, were definitely trendy, this one will stand the test of time, both in terms of quality and of style.

Though I do bring you lovely lighting solutions day in and day out, I must apologize for being a little light on the sconces. If you can afford it, this console table will make quite the first impression in your front hall. For me, it was passionate love at first sight. I love its Parsons-like clean lines and soft color duo; it just sits there whispering, "I'm pretty." If you can't drop 800 smackers on it, you can try the Duck Egg/Sand Pencil Box ($55), which looks suspiciously similar. What do you think? Do you find it as dreamy as I do?

Crave Worthy: Gump's Cerulean Display Case

Thank goodness Jackieos bookmarked this Gump's Cerulean Display Case ($3,950), or otherwise, I would have never known to start saving money to buy it as soon as humanly possible. In case you couldn't tell, I absolutely love this shelving unit, which would be perfect for displaying china or another collection.

I like that it looks somewhat traditional but mixes things up by juxtaposing the bright aqua back wall with the dark lacquered wood. Do you crave it as much as I do?
