Here's what doesn't work: Bath sets, gift cards, socks, candles and those cheap department store no-brand makeup kits.
1Love the baked goodies idea! That's always a great gift. And I disagree, dootsie, my mom LOVES candles, so when all else fails, I get her a nice candle.
2Unfortunately I'm past all of that stuff. Those gifts worked for a few years and now I'm left scrambling at the last minute.
