Casa Craving Challenge: Crave Worthy Statuary

This week I confessed that I've given in to statuary in my garden. A lot of you also admitted to loving the look of a little gnome or gazing ball in your azaleas, so for this week's Casa Craving Challenge, I figured I'd ask you to round up your favorite garden statuary. I'd like you to hunt down and bookmark garden statues, gazing balls, twinkly lights, and ornaments that you'd love to have in your veggie patch. To mark the start of wedding season (!) and the launch of IDoSugar.com, for this week's Casa Craving Challenge, I figured I'd focus on registries. So, I'd like you to hunt down and bookmark the items you're pining for, or in need of, which you'd register for if you were (or are) tying the knot. Casa Craving Recap: Styling Shower Curtains

Since my shower curtain is neither in the best shape nor very visually appealing, for last week's Casa Craving Challenge, I asked you to hunt down and bookmark some styling shower curtains. I told you they could be comic-book inspired or covered in moss roses, made of plastic, or made of cotton, so long as they were styling! I have to say I'm impressed with the results; now it'll be even harder to pick one out for my bathroom! Check out the widget to see everyone's fab finds.

As part of my Spring cleaning routine, I've been casting a critical eye on the shower curtain. It's not in the best of shape, and it's just not very visually interesting either. I think it might be time for a change.

Kind of like a man in a dapper suit, I must admit that modern white furniture turns my head. This glossy white West Elm Parsons Desk, for example, is one of my all-time favorite pieces. I was recently shopping with a friend, and at the sight of low, white nesting tables - before I could say "I want that!" - my friend said, "That's so you." Is it sad that I'm so predictable? I hope not. In light of this, for this Casa Craving Challenge, I want you to hunt down and bookmark the best looking modern white furniture you can find. Not just anything white: you've got to love it, and I bet I'll love it, too. And, try to steer clear of faux French shabby-chic styles as well - this week we're looking for something more contemporary. Casa Craving Challenge: Coffee Tables and Cool Alternatives

I'm happy to report that I finally banished our gigantic, awkward, and heavy coffee table to the basement (where it awaits its future owner, who will find it on Craigslist). But now that I've finally rid myself of that albatross, I'm at a loss for somewhere to put that shelter mag and glass of wine.

And they don't even have to be coffee tables per say: ottomans, benches, and other objects are fair game as well! Casa Craving Challenge: Verdant Vases

I'm all about the color green lately. Maybe it's because I'm excited about all of the budding trees and green vines in my neighborhood, or maybe my eyes are seeking relief from all of the gray skies that have hovered over me this Winter. Whatever the reason, I'm all about that verdant, grassy hue. And since I'm eager to prune a few more of those quince blossoms and stick them in vases, I'd like to find a few new green vases to display the branches in.

That's why for this week's Casa Craving Challenge, I'm asking you to hunt down and bookmark your favorite green vases. They can be simple and small, like the one in this photo taken by Irene Suchocki, or big and intricate. The vases don't have to be completely green, as long as they have some green tones or green designs within the vases. Just make sure they're something you like!
