Su Casa: A Thrifty and Hip DIY Shelf

Nice and New: The Finn Lounger
New from CB2, the Finn Lounger ($1,099) looks immensely comfortable. With slung-back-yet-sleek Scandinavian lines and a lovely dark finish on its solid-ash frame, this is a substantial sofa alternative that can also double as a bed for visiting friends. The open-geometric frame is covered with a natural cotton and jute-covered cushion, which is stuffed with feathers and foam.
Ask Casa: A Similar Script Rug
Hi Casa,
CB2 used to have a rug called Verse (in white with black handwriting, $300-500, right). They no longer carry it and I really want it. The only rug I can find that's remotely close is the DWR Manuscrit Rug ($3,400, left), and that's way out of my price range.
Steal of the Day: CB2 Revere Pendant Lamp
Add a shot of color to your overhead view with one (or more) of the CB2 Revere Pendant Lamps (on sale for $70, originally $150). Riffing on 18th century lanterns, the traditional shape is updated with a blue powdercoat finish over the steel frame. While looking for a mirror to coordinate with a friend's very graphic bedroom dresser, I noticed a developing trend: multi-paned mirrors. Some, like the CB2 Perspective Mirror ($149), have various shapes of mirrored glass, each angled differently to create a carnival "funhouse" effect. Others have varying shaped panes which sit flat on a single plane or are even overlapped.
