Look, we love Mad Men as much as the next person. But decorating an entire room, down to the detail, around a time period or theme is predictable and leaves little room for creativity.

Originally when I looked at this I thought it was a huge window, but it's not. Lol. It would be good for a themed hotel entrance, but not so much a house. The dining room is nice!

The first thing I started doing was trying to figure out how to fix this.

WOW this is wayyy over the top, the only room that should have a theme is the baby's room.

Yes, and anyone notice how the dining room has a matching furniture set AND the living room has fake flowers!?

I especially like how this is right next to the very formal traditional dining room. You'd risk getting the bends going back and forth between the two rooms.
