Last night, we were treated to a preview of the Alberta Ferretti for Macy's Impulse collection, launching in stores and online on April 17. It was a beautiful setting as models showed off Alberta Ferretti's designs for Macy's in a garden, complete with pretty white love doves. Known for her chic ladylike appeal, Alberta showcased gorgeous printed dresses and maxi gowns perfect for Spring soirees. There was also a selection of navy and white knit tops and sweaters, ideal for layering and pairing with tailored shorts or printed trousers. While Alberta Ferretti's signature collection is quite pricey, don't worry about breaking the bank on this collection; prices range from $49 to $119. Check out every piece in the collection now.

The 30-piece Alberta Ferretti for Macy's collection , slated to launch April 17, will include a range of feminine dresses, peasant blouses, garden party looks, and floral prints made out of chiffon and voile. Is Giambattista Valli the Next Designer to Head to Macy's?
On the heels of Karl Lagerfeld's designs set to hit Macy's in September, it's speculated that Giambattista Valli will debut his own collaboration for the department store in November. The two are only half of the store's four-part designer effort to excite the company's Impulse department, geared toward a younger, contemporary crowd. You may remember Matthew Williamson's cool capsule collection, which launched at Macy's in April, or Kinder Aggugini's designs, which kicked off the designer initiative in February. As for Valli, with a celebrity following that includes SJP, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Olivia Palermo plus an aesthetic that's gorgeously femme and modern — would you be interested if his designs showed up at Macy's? Tell us in the comments!

Five Fab Celebrities Inspire the Search For Our Spring-Perfect Maxi Styles
This season, one of our favorite silhouettes is the maxi. So, when we spied some Fab celebs stepping out for red carpets and parties wearing amazing styles, we had a thought — why should they have all the fun? On that note, we've picked five of our favorites to inspire five fresh maxi styles. From Dree Hemingway's spot-on '70s take to Brooklyn Decker's all-out femme, click through to shop the looks we're crushing on.
Trend Alert: Leather Mix-and-Match
While the rest of us are still experimenting with how to wear just one leather piece, Olivia Palermo has taken it to a new level of cool with two shades of buttery, leathery goodness. We love how the two pieces pair effortlessly, not as if they came together in some kind of prestyled set but met up organically to complement the look. That's exactly how you want to wear it — the leather mix-and-match isn't about creating a leather suit, it's about finding complementary shades, like a worn, brown jacket and pretty, pale green skirt. Then, do just as Olivia does, and fight the Catwoman effect by throwing in softer textures, like a cozy fur vest or a cashmere sweater.
