I can't think of a more idyllic way to warm up this month than soaking in the Neiman Marcus Albright Bathtub Set ($6,489). Made of AcraStone, a chip- and wear-resistant material with a porcelain-like surface that is warm to the touch, it's a smart splurge if you're a life-long bath lover like me. Its Old World copper tub feet, faucet, and accessories have a classic appeal that will stay in style as long as its lifetime manufacturer's warranty. If that weren't enough to wash over you with heartache, it has a thermostatic valve, which maintains your desired water temperature to within 1°F, regardless of changes in the temperature or pressure of the water supply. Forget love, this is ever-lasting lust.
These Grand Tour Sienna Marble Tubs ($8,500) from Bond and Bowery are from 19th century Italy, and each one, measuring 14"W X 6"D X 6"H, is modeled after a Roman tub. They are, in essence, just pieces of art, but I can think of plenty of uses for them in my home off the top of my head.
For the latest How Would You I'd like you to think outside the home-decorating box and find some creative ways to repurpose this pair of antique marble tubs. How would you use it in your home? In what room? For what purpose? Would you use them for storage? For décor? Add anything to them? Paint or refinish them? Leave a comment below and let me know how you'd fit these objets d'art into your home.

My heart just skipped a beat when I saw this Kohler Striped Cast-Iron Claw Foot Tub (price unlisted) on AT:LA. Not only does it fulfill my life-long yearning for a claw-foot tub, but its cheerful, modern stripes would give my white bathroom a much-needed perk, and its ornate feet bring on the antique glam. I'm sure the tub is no where near affordable, but maybe using boat paint on a slick new tub could achieve the same look. Do you love it as much as I do?
Who doesn't love the taste of melted butter on a freshly baked muffin? Although that creamy taste is unforgettable, we all know that butter isn't exactly healthy for us because it contains artery-clogging saturated fat and cholesterol.
Margarine is in no way a better option because most of them are made with hydrogenated oils that are high in trans fat. Why are trans fats so bad? They actually raise the bad cholesterol in our bodies and lower the good cholesterol.
I've got a better choice. Have you ever tried Earth Balance? It comes in a tub like other butter alternatives, but it contains no trans-fat whatsoever. It's not made with hydrogenated oils, but rather is a blend of natural vegetable oils including canola and olive.
Ok, so it's healthier for you, but does it taste good? Yes!! It really does. It has a light buttery flavor, that melts just like butter on warm bread. Plus Earth Balance is dairy-free, so it's a great alternative if you are lactose intolerant. You can use it in place of butter when spreading, cooking, or even baking.
Fit's Tips: Look for it in the dairy section next to the butter and margarine. Most health food stores carry it, and I've also been happy to see it on the shelves of mainstream grocery stores.
