Ryan Phillippe Relists in the Hollywood Hills

Ryan Phillippe is testing the real estate waters again with a second attempt at selling his Hollywood Hills estate.

Ryan Phillippe is testing the real estate waters again with a second attempt at selling his Hollywood Hills estate. Ryan purchased the home after his divorce with Reese Witherspoon but was ready to move on after living there for two years. Initially listed for $7.45 million in late 2010, Ryan had to reconsider his selling strategy once it was apparent that the house wasn't going to sell. After taking it off the market in 2011, it's finally back again with a new real estate agent and a 6.1 percent price cut. Now listed for $6.995 million, time will only tell if Ryan's Zen-inspired home will sell. It's apparent that the potential buyer will have to love the specific, and somewhat theme-y aesthetic of the home, with its the five-bedroom and six-and-a-half-bathroom features and impressive amenities like a two-story gym, media room, art studio, koi pond, and of course, stunning city views. Take a tour of the home to cast your bets on whether or not the home will sell!

According to Zillow, the couple recently plunked down serious cash, $10.45 million to be exact, for an East Coast-style estate in Brentwood, CA. The home was built fresh as a concept house by renowned So Cal designer Windsor Smith. Featured in Veranda magazine, the sprawling home includes rooms designed by a handful of the industry's designer elite, including Candace Barnes, Peter Dunham, and Kathryn Ireland. The six-bedroom, eight-bathroom estate is 8,000 square feet, which leaves plenty of room for the young family of four. With expansive lands, lush landscaping, horse stables, and a paddock, the home reflects a distinct East Coast aesthetic — a definite departure from the Spanish-Colonials and midcentury modern homes that Los Angeles is known for.
