Cool Idea: A Pizza Stone Side Table
There are few things I dread more than moving. The main reason? All that wrapping and packing followed up by the unwrapping and unpacking. What makes it worse? When it's all for nothing. When we moved into our house, the movers managed to break a circular glass insert for one of my side tables. When I called a glass cutting shop, they quoted me for more than the original table was worth. Being the thrifty gal that I am, I got creative instead of overdrawn.
After scavenging my house for only about an hour, I stumbled upon my pizza stone. A quick slip into the empty space and voilà! My table was new again. Lucky for me, I have hardly used the cooking device so it was in near-perfect condition. And did I mention, it matches my décor perfectly? Don't you love it when things work out like that?
