• Pucci's Peter Dundas spilled his daily routine in a recent interview. Among the tidbits divulged? He generally flies to his office in Florence from his apartment in Paris. "It's an hour-and-a-half flight," he said. "Really, I am in an airplane four or five times a week." [Harper's Bazaar]
  

• At the launch party for his book Advanced Style — which, like the blog, is dedicated to fashionable older folks such as Iris Apfel and model Mimi Weddell — Ari Seth Cohen screened a trailer for the documentary he's working on featuring the same subjects. • Christian Louboutin has released an app for the iPhone and iPad through which users can see the brand's videos, see new products, and even locate the nearest store. [Christian Louboutin]
  

The social tab provides a home for the brand's Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube updates, along with a BeautyTalk feature, where users can get and receive beauty advice ("What foundation will stay on while swimming?" a woman asks.). However it's the interactive catalogue, Beauty Report, where you'll likely spend most of your time. Full of pretty, glossy images, the catalogue includes tips, videos, and suggestions galore on how to re-create the trendiest looks. Of course with a little swipe and tap action, you can shop the picks, too. See more of the app's benefits when you keep reading.

Remember those awesome Choose Your Own Adventure books you had as a kid? (What should he do? To go into the cave, turn to page 25. To walk down the beach, turn to page 32.) Now that same sense of writing your own story comes to the iPhone; a perfect fit if you ask me! The U-Ventures app costs $4 (it is a story, after all) and besides mimicking a beloved book of yore, also incorporates sound, light, and other effects into its DIY storytelling.

This particular story is titled Return To the Cave of Time; but look out for more titles to be released. I'm surprised there haven't been more apps of this sort, especially now that the iPad has reached such popularity. And luckily, yes, U-Ventures works on the iPad, too!
