I have to admit that I'm pretty charmed by this Urban Outfitters Gnome Rug ($32). True, it's a little silly, but can you imagine how adorable it would be for the holidays? Made of a cotton and wool blend, throw this mushroom-gifting gnome down in an entryway, in front of a bathtub, or by your bed. Wherever you choose to place him, I'll guarantee he'll look pretty adorable. And hey, if Philippe Starck can appreciate gnomes, then so can I.
This jolly set of CAKE Chrome Gnomes ($42) is new at Design Public, and I gotta get my hands on them. I know they're just decorative ceramic figurines, but they're so cute they make me smile. I almost wish they were s&p shakers—wouldn't that be better? Functional or not, they're definitely trendy these days.
