Festive Holiday Garlands

Trees and wreaths are old hat.
Festive Holiday Garlands

Trees and wreaths are old hat. Why not add some further greenery in or around your home by decking the halls with garlands? Christmas garlands are a tradition brought from Europe by early American settlers and were usually hung after the Fall harvest. Selling garlands made of spruce, pine, and cedar boughs also were a source of income for many rural families. While there are plenty of artificial garlands on the market today, my favorites are still the garlands made from natural materials.
