Wondering what to get your mother this year? Encourage her to head to the farmers market with a hook-and-go cart. She can hang her reusable totes packed with fresh produce and products on the side hooks.
If she's too busy to make it to the market bring the farmers to her with a community shared agriculture box. Each week local, in-season fruit and vegetables will be delivered to her door!

The Thorsten van Elten Still-Life Bowl ($100) is a fruit bowl made from a glazed earthenware dish outfitted with an oak frame that can be set horizontally or vertically, so you can create your very own still life without even getting your paint brush wet. Yeah, you might prefer a van Gogh, but you can't have everything, can you?
Citrus fruit used to mean cocktails should be kept at room temperature. However, fruit left to roll around on the counter will only end up bruised or on the floor. A fruit bowl is necessary to properly hold (and display) the citrus. Thus, you headed off to market in search of pretty, stylish bowls that are large enough to fit several limes, lemons, or oranges, but small enough to sit on the kitchen counter without taking up too much space. You bookmarked the bowls in the Yum Market on TeamSugar with the keyword tag, Fruit Bowl.

According to Tony Abou-Ganim, citrus fruit used to make cocktails should be kept at room temperature. However, a bunch of citrus fruit rolling around on the counter while I cook is not pretty. Thus, I've decided to invest in a fruit bowl to properly hold (and display) the citrus. Can you help me find the perfect bowl? I'm intrigued by the whimsical novelty of this Hollowware Bowl, which I spotted on Design Crack. Echoing the design of a Mylar balloon, this inflatable bowl could hold fruit, but it's more likely to serve as conversation piece. I like the playfulness of it, but I'm having trouble shaking my perception of Mylar as tacky. What do you think?
