When Stephanie Gayol Phillipou and her husband moved into their Mountainside, NJ, home in December 2011, they had a 27-month-old daughter in tow, another daughter on the way, and holiday season just around the corner. His first nugget of wisdom? Shift your books. While bookshelves may scream for you to push every text you own into the space like a library aisle, consider a different approach.
