The Spring lineup from designers like Phillip Lim to brands like H&M was steeped with menswear-inspired styles. Slouchy separates, trousers, and blazers may have been borrowed from the boys, but now they all have a place in our closets, too. We've had a thing for menswear-inspired looks all year long, but this time they're a little lighter and easier as we ease our way into the warmer months ahead. It's that effortless feel we're after — a little boyish charm in a great pair of striped shorts, a Spring fedora, or a new iteration on the classic button-down. We've pulled from our favorite shops and the freshest crop of separates. Looking to channel that girl-meets-boy cool? Click on for 15 awesome ways to wear the trend — all for under $100.

>> Spring footwear season has officially arrived. Over the weekend, Missoni released its new collaboration with Converse, adding its signature pattern to the shoe brand's classic Chuck Taylor sneaker.
The shoes come in three colorways: white, pale green, and navy blue. The green and white women's styles hint at the traditional Missoni chevron, while the blue unisex version features a haphazard woven effect. All three styles retail for $200, and will be sold in limited editions at Jeffrey, Fred Segal, and Aloha Rag — as well as on the Converse website.
This isn't the first time Missoni has partnered with Converse; the two brands worked on a line of colorful, striped high-tops last Spring. This year's offering, in the gallery.

There's also the functional bonus of skin protection, as a good hat will be your best friend in keeping those UV rays at bay. Whether you're seeking shade with a wide-brimmed topper à la Beyoncé or polishing off your city-slick style with a fedora like Elizabeth Olsen, the effect is easy to pull off and incredibly chic.
