A Reader Shows Us Her Daily Run

Crazy! An old-timey video game carved from the trunk of a tree? Sitting by itself on the bank of a canal? I'll have to run to the other side of the park to check it out again . . . but maybe there is a Ms. Pacman hiding in the trees nearby!

Be sure to post a photo of your fitness life in our Get Fit For 2011 group to enter our weekly giveaway of a $100 Nike gift card and a chance to win our grand prize — a four-day fitness boot camp in LA! Use the camera on your phone to photograph contents of your gym bag, your home gym, your workout DVD collection, your fave workout wear, or an incredible view from your last bike ride.

Quickly Re-Touch Photos With PicTreat

Even with their fancy features, digital cameras aren't immune from taking the odd bad picture.

Even with their fancy features, digital cameras aren't immune from taking the odd bad picture. Now what happens when you want to fix a photo (like red eye, pimples, bad lighting) and free online photo editing sites just aren't cutting it with their basic features? Sure you could always use Photoshop if you're a master of its many tools, but what if you need to change your Facebook profile photo right away, and you don't have Photoshop? A site called PicTreat will instantly enhance your photo for free, and you can even sign-in using your MySpace ID or Facebook Connect.

Is This Pic Fit For the Photo Album?

A new trend is to stuff Baby's First Photo Album with pics of Mom and Pop embracing each other while posing near topless in blue jeans.

A new trend is to stuff Baby's First Photo Album with pics of Mom and Pop embracing each other while posing near topless in blue jeans. Nothing out-of-bounds is exposed, and the point is to show off Mom's beautiful baby bump, but is Dad's chest hair (or lack thereof, in the pic below) really necessary? Is this style of photography sweet and honest, or plain ol' inappropriate? You tell me.

Introducing: Unnecessary Blurring

The Internet has nothing better to do than punk with people's pics these days.

The Internet has nothing better to do than punk with people's pics these days. No photo is off limits, nobody is sacred, and there are absolutely no boundaries. Decapitate a baby? It's been done. Decapitate an old lady and give her a cat head for kicks? Done. So the three-dude pileup shown above was an easy target, and unnecessary blurring was the gag. It's a little harsh, but your mind was going there anyway — so what's the harm? Visit You Got Blurred for more unnecessary censorship.

You Asked: My Boyfriend Won't Let Me Take His Picture

Dear Sugar, I recently went on an all-expenses paid trip to New York with my boyfriend, and it was great.

Dear Sugar,

I recently went on an all-expenses paid trip to New York with my boyfriend, and it was great. However, when we were on our carriage ride through Central Park, my boyfriend refused to take a picture with me. Not only did he refuse while on this excursion, but he refused throughout the entire trip. I know he has nothing to hide; he just doesn't like getting pictures taken. I was so upset over this, and he just didn't care. He kept saying "No pictures. No way." We ended up spending the rest of the day angry, and he even threatened to get me an early flight back home. Any advice on this? We have had arguments about pictures before. He just refuses to let anyone take our picture. I really only have one of him since we have been together. Whats going on?

Photo Op — Psych!

We've all done the "duck out of photos to avoid ruining someone else's picture" move.

We've all done the "duck out of photos to avoid ruining someone else's picture" move. Usually, we stop completely and wait for the camera to do its thing. But what if people are posing for the hell of it and there is no camera in sight? How long will bystanders courteously wait off to the side for a picture never to be taken? Longer than you'd think.
