We always knew Darth Vader had some tricks up his sleeve, but morphing into a hot air balloon is a rather whimsical diversion for the Dark Lord. Taken at this year's annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, the photo is a peek at an almost sweet-looking Darth as he hovers high above the American West.

A multicolored hot-air balloon gets ready to rise as the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta launched today. More than 60 of these high-flying balloons filled the air in Bristol, England, this morning for the four-day hot-air ballooning event, which began in 1978. There should be hundreds of balloons involved in this year's event, which is set to attract 500,000 attendees and include hot-air balloon teams from the US, Dubai, France, and Switzerland. I'm loving the up in the air trend, from hot air balloons to kites, so when I saw Liz and Rich's wedding that literally has an "Up, Up, and Away" theme, I just had to share it with you! With so many handmade, out-of-the-box elements — hello, hot air balloon piñata and birdie cake topper — I'm having a difficult time coming back to earth from this one. Get carried away with me!

I was given a hanging hot air balloon as a gift and admit that I wasn't sure what to do with it. So I hung it and loved it. It fits perfectly in the room – and is a unique conversation piece.
