This February, David Stark and Nina Freudenberger Transform Haus Interior Into WOOD SHOP

I love a great conceptual pop-up shop, and David Stark and interior designer Nina Freudenberger are collaborating on a really fun one for February with WOOD SHOP.

I love a great conceptual pop-up shop, and David Stark and interior designer Nina Freudenberger are collaborating on a really fun one for February with WOOD SHOP. From Feb. 3-27, Stark will transform Freudenberger's Haus Interior in New York City into a concept shop, WOOD SHOP. Featuring a limited-edition David Stark Design product line, everything at WOOD SHOP will also be available online through the Haus Interior website. Including everything from cards to home decor to adorable Valentine's Day gifts, you can find something within your budget, with prices ranging from $5 to $500.

I recently interviewed both David and Nina about the collaboration. Keep reading for a look at the pop-up shop's goods and to hear what each has to say about WOOD SHOP.

Exclusive Interview With Haus Interior's Nina Freudenberger

Haus Interior's Nina Freudenberger Interview

Nina Freudenberger is a force to be reckoned with. Not only does she own the lovely store Haus Interior, located in New York's Nolita neighborhood, but she also operates a full-service interior design firm of the same name. Oh, and did I mention that she holds an architecture degree from RISD? And that she maintains the home decor site The Cultivated Home? Luckily, the lovely Ms. Freudenberger made some time in her very full life to answer my questions about her shop, sense of style, and ideas about home design. Check out the interview!

Casa Shops: Haus Interior

Last Summer, Nina Freudenberger opened her flagship store, Haus Interior, in New York's Nolita neighborhood, with the goal of showcasing beautiful yet still affordable interior decorating pieces.

Last Summer, Nina Freudenberger opened her flagship store, Haus Interior, in New York's Nolita neighborhood, with the goal of showcasing beautiful yet still affordable interior decorating pieces. Freudenberger, who also operates a full-service interior design firm of the same name, fills her small, well-curated shop with items that are unique, elegant, and often reflect a love of nature and coastal living.

There are plenty of pieces to lust after at Haus Interior, but my favorite might just be the Folding Camp Table ($375, also found in the widget below). It reminds me of old camping photo spreads from Sunset magazine circa 1945. I can also imagine this table looking great in a chic city loft's living room; like most of the pieces Nina has selected for the store, it's incredibly versatile.

Another great aspect of Haus Interiors' online shop is that you can shop by price point, starting at $50. This way, you can look for a cute gift for a friend without worrying about falling in love with a product that's way over your budget. Check out some of my fabulous finds below.
