Memorial Day gave many of our favorite stars one extra day to enjoy Summer activities on the beach and with friends! Ashley Greene was surrounded by friends at a party in Malibu on Sunday. She was just one of many stars who celebrated Memorial Day weekend by the beach including Gwen Stefani, Katie Holmes, and Alessandra Ambrosio. Ashley apparently enjoyed herself at the big BBQ as she tweeted about being so full once she got home. The actress may have indulged over the holiday, but her regular gym routine keeps her fit. She's been sticking to her workouts between business meetings, lunch dates, and nights on the town with new suitors since her split from Joe Jonas.

Memorial Day is this weekend, but you don't have to be a die-hard patriot to honor the holiday in your home. If an over-the-top stars and stripes theme isn't your thing, consider paying homage to Old Glory in a more subtle way. By sticking to stripes and forgoing the stars, you can sport this décor all year — or at least all Summer — long.
