Ashley Greene was surrounded by friends at a party in Malibu on Sunday. She was just one of many stars who celebrated Memorial Day weekend by the beach including Gwen Stefani, Katie Holmes, and Alessandra Ambrosio. Ashley apparently enjoyed herself at the big BBQ as she tweeted about being so full once she got home. The actress may have indulged over the holiday, but her regular gym routine keeps her fit. She's been sticking to her workouts between business meetings, lunch dates, and nights on the town with new suitors since her split from Joe Jonas.

Happy Memorial Day! In honor of the unofficial start of Summer, we're curious as to what you're most looking forward to this season. There's so much going on, with some of 2011's biggest movies, like the final Harry Potter, Green Lantern, and X-Men: First Class, arriving in theaters. Many of our favorite celebs will take amazing vacations such as Jennifer Aniston in her beloved Cabo, and that just might give some guys a chance to go shirtless — fingers crossed Robert Pattinson is among them! Finally, there are plenty of birthdays to celebrate. Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, for example, will turn 3 on July 12. With so many options, what are you most looking forward to this Summer?

Memorial Day Décor: No Stars, Just Stripes

Memorial Day is this weekend, but you don't have to be a die-hard patriot to honor the holiday in your home.

Memorial Day is this weekend, but you don't have to be a die-hard patriot to honor the holiday in your home. If an over-the-top stars and stripes theme isn't your thing, consider paying homage to Old Glory in a more subtle way. By sticking to stripes and forgoing the stars, you can sport this décor all year — or at least all Summer — long. I for one am planning to hang the Anthropologie Vibrant Afternoon Hammock ($98) in my yard ASAP, and I just might toss a couple PB Found Vintage Grain Sack Pillow Covers ($89-$99) on my sofa this weekend. Shop the rest of the cheery stripes above!
