According to the New York Times, Harry Potter portrayer Daniel Radcliffe has purchased a 2,446-square-foot apartment at 1 Morton Square in the Far West Village in Manhattan. Jacquie Garrett of Stribling & Associates handled the sale of the apartment, which was previously owned by her son and daughter-in-law. Radcliffe, who is only 18, purchased the apartment for $4.9 million. This is his second downtown Manhattan purchase in less than a year, as he purchased a condo on Mercer Street last November for $4.3 million.

When I was 20, for Christmas my father gave me my first toolbox — a tool bag, actually, filled with the essentials and more. I was a bit surprised to see it sitting under the red and green wrapping paper. But years later, still holding onto it, I have to admit it's been one of my most used gifts. If you don't have one, you should. Or, if you're looking for a tried and true gift idea, a toolbox is key. Source

I figured there may be more of you who need to remove cigarette odor for your wood furniture (inherited or not), so I've compiled a list of suggestions to make your wood furniture smell so fresh and so clean. To hear them, read more
Dear CasaSugar,
Hi! I love Ferm Living! I'm glad you've introduced me to it (too bad I rent... le sigh). I was wondering though, if you knew where the tiny spool-like bedside table is from? Do they also do furniture?
Something like it would be perfect in my tiny room!
This trunk, called the Casulo, which means cocoon in Portuguese, opens to reveal something pretty, well, brilliant. Can you guess what it is? I'll give you a hint: it's perfect for people who are always on the go. To find out what's inside, .
A room! The Casulo, which was designed by two Danish students at the Köln International School of Design, is still in its prototype phase, but it's already causing a hullabaloo. Inside the box lies a "bed, bookcase, filing cabinets, stools a desk, a small cabinet, three stool chairs, an armoir, a bed (with mattress), and a shelving unit, and "the suitcase itself becomes a closet thanks to magnetic clothes hangers." All of these furnishings can be unpacked by just one person in seven minutes. And, since the designers eliminated the need for Styrofoam packing, it is environmentally friendly as well as space friendly. Bachelors, college kids, and nomads have just met their match! Source
