I was first introduced to the work of Sally McCubbin via her stunning Imagery Bowls (below, left), which feature culturally charged images relief-cut into two-toned glass. After spending some time perusing her web site, I'm smitten with nearly every object she's created. As with the mortar and pestle set below, McCubbin puts sleek twists on practical pieces.
