Are You Hosting This Thanksgiving?

Props to you if you're hosting dinner this Thanksgiving. It's a hefty undertaking! If you're not, I'm sure you'll be a proper guest and bring a side dish or dessert, right?

Last year, i cooked the entire meal! i made a turkey, a chicken, a ham, i made Peking Duck the night before, mac and cheese from scratch, yams, string beans,stuffing w/ giblet gravey, 3 apple pies, a peach cobbler, a german chocolate cake, butter cookies from scratch, and i got some over priced wine. and guess what? everyone got the flu and was too sick to eat!!!! my mother tried to eat when she saw how bad my feelings were hurt, but she was too weak to sit up. talk about ticked off.

We're selling our house and can't mess up the house. I've always had a family rule since we had children that Thanksgiving will be at our house, no matter what family members get mad or are absent. This year, we are breaking my rule and going to a friends house for dinner. Still we're bringing homemade rolls, 2 cranberry compotes, stuffed tomatoes, and roasted red potatoes. 18 guests so there's going to be a lot of food!

I'm guest-chef'ing at my brother's place this Thanksgiving. He's cooking the bird and I'm bringing the cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes (with roasted garlic), as well as homemade pumpkin pie.

not for me!:(ima stay home alone. my bf is away right now and i hate my "mother" . her invitation was faker than pamela anderson's boobs.and my mother in law, well i get sad looking at her cuz it reminds me of my bf.i cant wait to he comes back!!!!!!!!!!
