I'm the "lucky" one who gets to cook for Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year's Eve.......thank goodness someone else had idea to have Thanksgiving at their house!! I'm bringing a few food items with me.

This year it was just me and my spouse. We had a nice quiet long weekend alone.

My job this Thanksgiving is definitely not to cook, but to EAT everyone's delicious food! HAHAHAHA.

The last few years we have been invited out for Thanksgiving. Our family meets at a big restaurant where we have our own dining room. It is so much fun to have the freedom of a delicious meal without the stress of preparing or cleaning up afterwards. We do miss having leftovers but this year I'll do a smaller feast over the weekend to make turkey sandwiches with cranberry sauce.

My mother-in-law does the big stuff and we all bring whatever she assigns to us. I offered to have it in our new home this year, but I think it insulted her a little. She loves entertaining and I'm pretty sure she'll host forever.

We're having Thanksgiving at my Mom's, however, she's the least domestic person on the planet, so I'm playing hostess for her. We'll have 35 family members over for dinner.

Well, my sister is going to the in-laws, so we're having a mini pre-Thanksgiving at my place with my dad the weekend before. On the actual Thanksgiving day I'll be the guest at a good friend's house

Yes, I am hosting thanksgiving. It is my favorite. No over night guest. Everyone is local.

Hanging with the future in-laws for the first time this year...on vacation in Mexico. No idea what's on the agenda for the meal, so it'll be a little hard to offer up my culinary services!

Deidre--- JEALOUS!!! My husband, mom and brother and I will be having lunch at a beautiful antebellum mansion -- they have a 5 course meal, fancy versions of traditional thanksgiving food but in a pretty relaxed setting. I'm excited to not have to cook or clean for once.

I hosted Thanksgiving dinner last year for the first time for my fiance and much of my immediate family. I guess it was such a hit that my mother volunteered me to do this year's Thanksgiving dinner too! But I'm contemplating doing Christmas dinner instead and handing Thanksgiving over to my sister (for logistical reasons.)

I will be at my sisters for Thanksgiving. We do host the fam's Christmas Eve festivities, though (which is so much more fun to put together!).
