Whether you're hosting a small party or just cuddling up with your sweetheart, staying in on New Year's Eve is often a good option if you want to avoid drunk, unruly crowds in the bars and clubs. Are you planning on making it a night in this year?

Thought I was going on but, ended up staying in with hubby, sister-in-law and sister. We had a good, quiet time and really enjoyed welcoming the new decade together :)

I will be a home and I'm completely content with that. You can have just as much fun at home relaxing on New Years Eve...and New Years Day.

We always stay home for NYE. We invite neighbors over for cocktails and fun party foods. The countdown is done on New York time so those that need to go home early can do so without feeling like they are missing anything. Those of us that are still around at midnight like to go outside and look at the night sky--blue moon this year!!!
