Would You Install This Range Hood?

Based on a painting by Jasper Johns, this flag hood from Metallo Arts (inquire for price) certainly makes a statement. Would you put it in your kitchen?

I'm sure some little Americana country kitchen would benefit greatly from this, but....it would drive me crazy. I would probably try to scrub all of that dark paint off...it just looks filthy.

It's all about design. I can't imagine that ever being above my head while I cooked, but it could create the perfect kitchen in some home.

I think it's nice...if you lived in a cottage in New Hampshire or a log cabin in the woods. It would like dumb in my plain jane house, but I could see it working somewhere! Vision people!
