I don't think I'd put in my home either, but I think its cute and if I had a waiting room for any reason I'd definately put it there. But if money were no object, maybe I'd have a waiting
room in my house...that'd be cool.
I stayed in the old Havana Cuba for two months last summer and visited tons of hotel for my summer job, in one of them there were these gigantic and modern chairs in royal blue and this kind
of reminds me of their style...the thing is this is suitable for an hotel NOT a personal residence uh uh.
I'm all about having furnishings that are livable and welcoming, not "artistic" pieces. It's fine for someone with straight-lined preferences, but not i. nosirree.

i would never placed that overpriced piece in my home. it looks like it belongs in a james bond movie made in the 60's or maybe austin powers.

2I don't think it's ugly, but it's not my taste. So, no, I wouldn't want it.
3So ugly...
4I like it b/c it would fit in with a design I've had in mind.
5No thanks!
6It needs to be in the middle of a room, and that's just not practical for the majority of people.
7Ugh, it looks so uncomfortable.
8That is just strange. I'm sure that would not be comfortable or practical.
9This thing confuses me. Do I curl in the folds of its conch shell-like inside? Or sit on one side while my awkward guest sits on the other?

12Looks like Im one of the few who thinks this is pretty darn cool looking. I love the complexity, I find it visually stimulating.
13It's a red croissant roll!
14I don't like it at all...
155+ years ago I would have loved it.
16Not my favorite
17it looks like something that the family from beetlejuice would own. also, it looks like an ultra-modern design from the 80s.
18nope
19can one sit comfortably on this???
20in the midst of some insane rococo wallpaper and a shag rug, it'd be PERFECT.
21No
22nope
23I appreciate the design... it's not something I would choose for myself though.
24I like functional pieces ... how do you use this? Do you leave it in the middle of the room? Who on earth would actually sit on this?
25i always wanted one of those!!!
26I'd have to try it out and see if it's comfortable to sit in. I like how it looks, but if it's not practical there's no point.
27I think it's sexy.
28I'd put the meat chair next to it.
And call it art.
