Fresh-cut flowers are one of life's little luxuries. But depending on where and when you pick up your petals, you can make your much-deserved indulgence last much longer. Buying your blooms from a florist in the beginning of the week is a tried and true way to ensure they last long. On Fridays the stems tend to be more affordable, and you can still enjoy them on the weekend, though they may soon wither. Farmers markets and flower stands are also reliable resources.
