Two Unusual Berlin Hotels Perfect For Adventurous Travelers

I recently stumbled across photos of two very different Berlin hotels, whose unifying factor is a level of eccentricity unseen in most places of lodging. The first hotel, the Huettenpalast was created when owners Silke Lorenz and Sarah Vollmer turned a hall that was part of a former vacuum cleaner factory into a hotel space, creating guest rooms from wooden huts and old campers.

On the other end of the spectrum is Hotel Minimal, a guest house and art installation rolled into one. Guests will discover the simple pleasures of a bed, light fixture, water, coffee, and a large window — thus the art installation — at their stay at Hotel Minimal. Intrigued? Let's take a closer look at each of these hotels.
