When DeForest Architects approached the design for a home on Washington's glacier-fed Lake Wenatchee, they kept several priorities in mind. One was that the home should be modern, yet reflect its beautiful natural surroundings. Another was that it should be comfortable and low-maintenance for its homeowners.
