Using Coat Racks For Storage in the Bedroom, Kitchen, and More

While most of us use our coat racks to hang purses, scarves, and coats, I love to see a very basic home element used in a more creative way. It's the perfect place to hang long, dangling necklaces, as this one is used here. But it's also great for other rooms and uses as well.

Try drying homegrown herbs from your garden on it in the kitchen. Or affix one on a wall above a claw-foot tub to use for body brushes, loofahs, and other showering essentials.
