I think I can die now. After years of gawking at celebrity homes, I've found the chosen one. Uma Thurman has put her seven-bedroom, six-and-one-half bath mansion in Greenwich Village's "Gold Coast" area on the market for a cool $14.2 million — and it's worth every penny of its $39,330 annual property tax. The pre-war townhouse measures in at only 25 feet wide, but with five stories it has plenty of footage for a media room, guest suite, dining room, parlor, master bedroom, two sitting room, three bedrooms, a gym, and a rooftop deck. Oh! And don't forget about the patio, garden, terrace, and balcony in the rear!
Not only is the layout fantastic and ideal for entertaining, but it's absolutely gorgeous. With stunning historical architectural details that are a rare sight these days, the house would make any old piece of furniture look fabulous. But Uma's outfitted it in picture-perfect (see above) décor that's cozy, neutral, and well-traveled. Her mix of antiques, slipcovered seating, and a wonderful art collection give the space a welcoming feel and ensure there's plenty to gaze at. I'm intrigued by her upright piano, and I love how she's used a music stand as an easel for artwork. Take a look at more photos of the space below. I'm going to go work on coming up with $14 million.
