FabSugar has found the Spring couture runways dominated by very pretty pastels this year. Everyone from Christian Dior to Eli Saab to Christian Lacroix is using a delicate, powdery pigment. I've been noticing the same trend in the home décor world. A part of me is reminded of Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada snapping sarcastically, "Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking." I mean, are pastels so revolutionary? No, they're not. But, I've come across soft shades that are a far cry from that not-so-distant memory of your Laura Ashley-ridden tea parties.
