Top 10 Worst Decorating Mistakes

Decorating is a very personal thing, and our homes should reflect our taste, not the trends we follow. That said, taste is a very subjective word. There are always exceptions, and what may look like a mistake in one room can work in another. But there are a few things I find to be inexcusable in all cases, whether for functional or aesthetic reasons. Check them out and tell me if you agree.

Yet one more way to judge people and make them feel bad at the expense of making yourself feel good. Get over yourselves.

I need to send this to my mother. She is guilty of a number of violations. Knickknacks, too many pillows. I think they for got about to many artificial flowers. I tell her about this all the time and she refuses to listen. We had a argument about how many pillows she had on the sofa. Guess what she lost. 14 pillows on one sectional. Come on now?

I grew up with plastic-covered couches and chairs in the living room. But my parents had 13 kids!!! I remember how I used to get stuck in the Summer!! Not funny!! I have a cousin who still has her couch plastic covered and she lives alone. It's ugly as heck but her couch still looks flawless and it's 25 years old!!! I totally agree with the matchy bedroom furniture. I would rather search for months rather than buy a matching set!! And I have!!
