Thanksgiving Decor For the Ceiling

I found a new place to decorate: the ceiling! I've been doing it for years, actually, but am now ready to share the secret. 3M Command Hooks are removable and don't leave a mark. For this tablescape, it allowed me to suspend mercury glass pinecones and acorns over the table for an added layer of design. On the table, I made a burlap runner, topped with a gold lamé runner, topped with a silky chocolate runner. The centerpiece is tall yet ethereal: a wire topiary placed in a mercury glass vase, filled with moss, and then tied with a satin bow. On either side is a vintage cast-iron urn, also filled with earthy moss, acorns, and dried leaves painted gold. A light brown mercury glass pumpkin sits on top of each. Anchoring each end is a sheath of wheat tied with a chocolate brown satin ribbon. A link with more pictures can be found here, as well as details on where to buy everything.
